Weekend at the Lake: Sept. 1st - 4th, 2023
Join us this Labor Day weekend for Weekend at the Lake, open to individuals and families of all ages! Don't have a lake house? Who needs one! Join us at camp for a fun-filled weekend relaxing at Pyoca's waterfront where you can swim, boat, fish, and enjoy all that Creation has to offer. Folks will have lots of fun activities to choose from throughout the weekend led by our fantastic program staff.
The weekend will officially kick off on Friday, Sept. 1st at 6:30PM with an all-camp cookout. Check-in will be from 5:00PM - 6:00PM. Families are more than welcome to arrive earlier in the afternoon on Friday, however Pyoca will not be providing programming before dinner that evening. After dinner folks are welcome to explore the grounds, go boating or fishing, or play games with staff before our first campfire at 7:30PM.
Folks will have the option to choose between either a two-night or three-night retreat stay. Those arriving on Saturday, Sept. 2nd can check in as early as 10:00AM.
Can't make it to all of Weekend at the Lake? Join us on Saturday, Sept. 2nd for Family Day! Saturday will be filled with a wide variety of camp activities for families to choose from, including: boating, swimming, guided hikes, crafts, climbing tower, games, and more. Plus, there will be plenty of time to rest and relax together as a family.
Family Day will run from 10:00AM - 6:00PM on Saturday. Lunch is included with registration.
Weekend at the Lake will conclude at 10:00AM on Monday, Sept. 4th after breakfast and our final worship service.
Registration Portal
Registration is now open. Folks will register through our online portal and choose "Weekend at the Lake." As always scholarships are available no questions asked. Members of Pyoca's Alumni Association receive a 10% discount on their registration fees.
DEVOTIONAL LEADER: Rev. Chelsea Benham
Rev. Chelsea Benham serves as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Elizabethtown, KY, a vibrant, small, multigenerational community of Christ followers. Her great joys in ministry are creating intergenerational community, facilitating lively worship, connecting people to each other and God, and always trying something new. She loves Messy Church, singing, playing board games, and reading. Her spouse, Blake, works in education, and they have two daughters, Lydia and Leah. Chelsea previously served at Irvington Presbyterian Church and Second Presbyterian Church, both in Indianapolis. She’s from Memphis, TN, and graduated from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

**Note: Family Day fees cover the cost of lunch and access to all of the day's programming on-site.
LODGING: Families who choose cabin lodging will be assigned their own room in one of our modern cabins. Each cabin space has at least three bunk beds and a private ensuite bathroom. Lodging does not include linens. Families/folks camping out in tents or at RV sites will be assigned a space by the lake near our Pavilion to set up camp and will have access to showers in the Lodge.

MEALS: Our kitchen accommodates a wide variety of dietary needs, so please let us know if you have any questions related to meal service throughout the weekend.
REGISTRATION: Folks will register through our online system. Log in through our registration portal and choose Weekend at the Lake. Add each person that you would like to register and choose your lodging selection. We accept both credit/debit and e-check payments.
