Ignite Possibilities Capital Campaign
At Pyoca Camp and Retreat Center, we believe in the transformative power of community, nature, and faith. For decades, we’ve been a place where individuals of all ages come to grow spiritually, deepen their connections, and explore new possibilities. Now, we are embarking on our most ambitious endeavor yet: the Ignite Possibilities Capital Campaign.
Why This Campaign Matters
Our facilities have served thousands of campers, retreat guests, and visitors, providing a sacred space for reflection, learning, and growth. However, as our community continues to grow and evolve, so must our campus. To ensure that Pyoca remains a vibrant space for generations to come, we are setting a bold goal to raise $2.3 million to renovate and enhance our facilities.
Our Vision for the Future
The Igniting Possibilities Capital Campaign will focus on the following key projects:
Chapel Renovation: The chapel is the heart of our spiritual programming. We envision a fully renovated, accessible space that honors Pyoca’s heritage while providing a more welcoming and functional environment for worship, reflection, and community gatherings.
Lodge Upgrades: We will revitalize our cabins and guest accommodations to ensure that all visitors experience a safe, comfortable, and restful stay. These upgrades will improve energy efficiency, expand capacity, and enhance the overall experience for all who step onto our campus.
Add Small Family Cabins: Add four stand alone cabins for year-round use growing our capacity for programs like family camps and provding additional facilities for pastoral respite.
Upgrade Site Signage: Create a welcome experience as campers and guests arrive at camp with captivating and clear signage. This is critical as we welcome new groups and campers especially the youth director arriving for the first time with a van full of eager youth on a cool and dark November Friday night for a weekend of fellowship and faith formation.
Expand the Yurt Bathrooms: Add additional facilities, including showers to the yurt bathrooms, for increased camper safety and convenience.
Continued Renovations to the Retreat Center and Staff Residence: To improve usability and exterior appearance.
